On this week’s show, the main attraction is our conversation with professional gambler and draft expert Dean Demakis. Dean explains why Marcus Smart is listed at #3 on his big board, and explains why Wiggins doesn’t quite match up to the Oklahoma State PG. We also talk about who the Jazz should draft at #5, and some possible sleepers in the later stages of the draft. It’s an excellent 20-minute conversation that’s not to be missed.
Then, Ben Dowsett and I talk to SCH writer Dan Clayton. Dan attended the NBA Draft Lottery, and he has some fun anecdotes to share about his time interviewing Dennis Lindsey, Randy Rigby, Brian Miller, and more.
Finally, we also talk about Game 1 of the NBA Finals throughout. Was the game determined by LeBron’s cramping up? We talk about why and how it happened.
That, plus our Crazy Trade Idea of the Week at the end, makes this one of my favorite shows we’ve done. Be sure to listen in!
