Enes Kanter is Officially Not Fat

August 29th, 2012 | by Spencer Hall

After some rumors swirled last week that perhaps Enes Kanter was “losing his head” and maybe even getting out of shape, he went ahead and posted the following photo to let everyone know that yeah, he’s doing just fine.

Kanter has been working out in Chicago at HiFi Fitness. Who knew that a little Pilates could deliver results like that? I’m going to have to start mixing in a few crunches and planks or something.

In the past, Kanter worked with Tim Grover in Chicago and is clearly taking his training to an elite level. There are a lot of things that can be criticized about Kanter’s game, but it looks like fitness isn’t one of them.

Yes Enes! Channel your inner Mailman!

  2. Holy Cow! That guy is BUILT!!! This is reason why I say Jefferson and Milsap need to go because I guy that works THIS HARD deserves minutes and Milly and Al will just take them up.

  3. James says:

JT’s Hoops, apparently you have already forgotten how ripped Al and Sap were at the beginning of the season, how everybody was calling 25 “Huge Al” and how twitter was freaking out over Millsap’s 25% bigger guns.

If you’re gonna call for them to go, at least have the right reasons behind it.

I workout at the gym where Enes trains off-season in Chicago. His body has changed dramatically since I first saw him last year. Packed on lean muscle. Cut fat. I saw him doing some agility drills and his speed/dynamic strength has also improved. I wish we had him on the Bulls.

Very cool to hear. I can’t wait to see him in action. Anytime a guy has the discipline and dedication to transform his body like that, I like the guy’s chances to improve his game as well. Thanks for the report, Jon.

    KANTER IS RIPPED!!!

Don’t know what James is talking about. I never heard anyone say Jefferson or Millsap transformed their bodies. Kanter has undergone a physical metamorphesis. He was NOT in shape last year, he was very husky.

There is not an ounce of fat on that frame. He looks like a Titan! Serioussly, he looks like a Marvel comic action hero. That is as buff as you can be without steroids.

Congratulations to Enes. Hope he gets some quality playing time!
