Gail Miller Announces Engagement

Big news from the Miller family as Gail Miller announces her forthcoming marriage to long-time friend of the family Kim R. Wilson.

SALT LAKE CITY (June 1, 2012) — The Miller family is pleased to announce the engagement of Mrs. Gail Miller and Mr. Kim R. Wilson, both residents of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gail Miller is the owner of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies and serves as chairman of the organization’s advisory board. She is actively engaged in the various operations of the company, including the administration of the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation. Kim Wilson is currently a shareholder in the law firm of Snow, Christensen & Martineau, P.C. and chairman of the firm’s Credit and Financial Services department. Wilson is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Mormon Historic Sites Foundation.

“Our families have known each other for more than 15 years,” said Miller. “We share our neighborhood, church and many friends. I am very excited to embark on this next chapter in my life with someone that I know well, love and trust.”

Both widowed, Gail and Kim enjoy spending time with their families, which combined, will include nine children, 30 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to focusing on their family and businesses, both enjoy traveling and providing civic, church, community and philanthropic service.

“On behalf of my brothers and sister, I am very proud of my mother for being an inspiration to all of us,” said eldest son, Greg Miller. “It is wonderful to see her take the opportunity to enjoy this happiness in life after losing my father to his prolonged battle with diabetes.”

The couple plan to marry sometime during the summer of 2012.
