Editor’s Note: The Utah Jazz had a busy Sunday as NBA free agency began, and SCH capologist and writer Ken Clayton is here to show you how they did it.

As agreements slowed on Sunday afternoon, there were lots of questions about how the Jazz were managing the cap and how they might move forward. I recorded this quickly to help Jazz fans understand the machinations of the salary cap, and what might come next (although sadly the Ed Davis news hit just a little too late, so this recording does not include that signing, which presumably was completed with the Room Mid-Level Exception of $4.78 million).
