The Deseret News’ Jody Genessy celebrates hitting a routine 18 footer during this week’s media training camp. It was his only basket of the day.

This week’s episode is all about the Jazz’s Media Training Camp. Invited by new coach Quin Snyder to participate in a practice and learn some of the offense, it seemed like all media had a blast at the event. We invite Nicole Hernandez of 1600 AM, the Jazz’s Spanish radio affiliate, on the show to chat about what we learned about Snyder’s offense, which media members had game, what it was like as the only female media member at the event, and more. As always, we also have a Crazy Trade Idea of the Week.

Enjoyed the podcast. I don’t know if any of those on the podcast ever reads the comments or not. First of all Ron Boone (Chief) is way in his sxties. He was on the Utah Stars championshi ABA team in the early 1970″s.. He holds te ABA record and maybe the NBA record for most consecutive games. Jazz could use someone just like him on the team today. Bailey is getting close to the fifties i not already there.
I enjoy hearing ideas on the crazy trade idea. This is why it was a mistake to not use Kanter more last year to figure out who he was. Now they must do or not do an extention befor the season starts. My idea is to trade him to the Horncats for Vonleh and Gilchrist. A pick might also be needed. He would thrive playing next to his buddy again. But I hink it is almost certain they do not extend him by the end of October..

We do read the comments! Yeah, both Boone and Bailey were awesome to be around at all, Boone especially is a legend. And why risk getting hurt in basketball when it could hurt your golf game! Also, agreed with you on Kanter’s extension… from what I’m hearing, it is unlikely.
