   So who exactly is behind this add? I saw it on tv the other night and was really surprised by it.

   in the lower right hand corner at the end of the commercial (about the 27 second mark) it says the ad is sponsored by jordan. i just picked up on that last night after wondering the same thing saturday night.

   It says it’s sponsored by Jordan. Jordan has a deal with Nike, of course, and part of this deal is, apparently, to develop a stable of other stars, one of whom is Carmelo.

   It’s no mystery that the ad was created by Nike, but I’m just curious about the thought process behind the whole creative. I put in a request with Nike’s PR people to get some commentary but haven’t heard back.

   It’s obviously designed to rile up the Utah fans. It’s actually a pretty brilliant strategy when you consider it.
