On this episode of the Salt City Hoops Podcast from the ESPN700 studios, Andy Larsen is joined by Clint Johnson in a discussion of all of the things going on in Jazzland. First, we talk about Gordon Hayward’s max offer sheet. Clint has significant reservations about signing Hayward. In particular, how will he perform under the spotlight of a max deal?

Then, Salt City Hoops founder Spencer Hall joins us on the program. Spencer was the original Summer League blogger, posting about the Rocky Mountain Revue and the Vegas Summer League for FreeDarko. We talk about the history of the summer league, some of the anecdotes of the old days in SLC and Vegas, and look forward to this year’s summer league. We also talk about the fan turnout at yesterday’s summer league practice.

Finally, it’s time for the Crazy Trade Idea of the Week. This idea comes from the JazzFanz message boards. Could Carlos Boozer return to the Utah Jazz? All that and more on this week’s show!
