How Trey Lyles Fits in Utah

Let’s get this out of the way from the jump: Trey Lyles wasn’t anywhere near the top of my Jazz draft board. If I were Dennis...Read More

  1. JanF says:

Rigth of the gate, what would you think about a trade to get to 3 or 4 and take Russell/Mudiay?

  2. JanF says:

I’m thinking (though I hate to say it) Burks, Burke, and 12 for 3 or 4. We need one of those top flight guards at the top of the draft.

  3. Clint says:

Stupid question, how long is “the clock” for each pick?

  4. Jake says:

I would ship Favors and the 12th pick off in a heartbeat for a top 5 pick. Especially if we are going to acquire Paul Milsap in free agency. We don’t need another log jam in the front court. Isn’t that how the whole Enes Kanter mutiny started?

  5. Mike says:

I would probably trade favors for Towns straight up but wouldnt consider him in any other draft trades.

    • Mike says:

Yea, I dont always agree with Ben but I’m with him on this one. Doesn’t matter because there is zero chance Minny would consider this deal.

  6. Kyle says:

I would love WCS because I think the Jazz defense would then be best in the NBA and if he stays healthy for the year would be a huge trade piece.

  7. Mike says:

If lyles is a long term project my issue is minutes. PF is the one position that, barring injury, there aren’t any backup minutes up for grabs. Any other position could get playing time to develop, but there is no way lyles helps over Favors/Booker. I also would rather keep evans than play this guy.

Would rather have traded back or taken Payne/Booker.

Not sure how he helps or gets developed as a player or asset.
