On this week’s episode of the Salt City Hoops Show, hosts Andy Larsen and Zach Harper begin by talking with Tim Donahue, writer for 8 Points, 9 Seconds, the famed Indiana Pacers blog. We ask him about George Hill’s strengths and weaknesses, along with other questions like “so how are the Pacers going to play next season?” Next, we play In or Out. This week’s game is on youngish NBA players who still haven’t really played for winning teams. Will they be major contributors one day? We talk briefly about Team USA (a full Olympic preview is coming next week). Our second hour is led off my Ian Levy, editor in chief of the Hardwood Paroxysm Network and founder of Nylon Calculus joins us to talk more about Hill, and the role of analytics in the NBA next season. Finally, we go Around The NBA with lots of news and notes from around the league. That, and significant talk about toaster ovens, on this week’s Salt City Hoops Show!
