After Zach Lowe’s article on the Jazz this week mentioned the possibility of trading for Jeff Teague, and Teague was confirmed as being available by Hawks writers, he’s been the talk of the Jazz community. Andy Larsen and Angie Treasure (subbing in for Zach Harper on his birthday) talk about Teague, what he would bring to Utah, and what it would take to acquire him. Then, we bring on Buddy Grizzard from HawksHoop to give his perspective on why the Hawks would be trading Teague. We negotiate on Teague’s price. Then, we bring on Jody Genessy from the Deseret News to talk about the trade rumors and more around Jazzland. Around the NBA, Bill Simmons’ trade ideas, and more round out this week’s Salt City Hoops Show!

  1. Brandon says:

    Hayward for Teague and Korver

    • Jesse says:

That would be a horrible idea. Korver is 34 and his stats are on the decline, in 2 seasons he’ll likely be out of the league. And Teague isn’t worth losing our best offensive player for considering Teague is in his prime now, while the rest of our team is likely 1-2 seasons away from reaching theirs, meaning by the time the rest of the team is playing their prime, Teague will be on the decline. Not to mention that would give the Jazz a player jam with 4 PG’s.

      • Brandon says:

Korver had one of the highest PACs last year according to Locke. Higher then Hayward also if you can’t see that Hood is surpassing Hayward as our offensive focus you are blind. Hayward is fine but he is not going to win us anything. Lets get a nice young PG then allow Exum to come back with a soft landing.

  2. NEO says:

trey burke jazz unprotected pic this year and thunder 1st rounder

  3. NEO says:

I think that’s better than anything that the knicks can offer. Plus we don’t really need to get any younger we have our core.

  4. Goon says:

Angie was great. You should bring her in every week and have a triple-wing lineup!
