That was a quality that everyone loved in John Stockton, and that everyone loved in Deron Williams (while he was a Jazz man–he seems to have lost that quality somewhat with the Nets).

The other thing I like about Burke is that no matter what type of game he is having offensively, he makes everyone else in the offense so much better. Look what his former teammates at Michigan are doing this year–Robinson and McGary–not that much. I think a lot of their achievements last year could be attributed to Burke making them better.

It’s certainly clear this far into his rookie season that he is a leader and a winner, and is going to be very good.
