Now that we lost the Big Game to the Lakers, it’s time to move in a new direction.

You know hold some interviews, do some research and what not.

Personally, I want Brad Jones to be given a 1 year deal as HC, with Corbin, Sanders and Lowe all kicked out. So we need a new HC, and 2 new assisstants. I mean what is the point of starting fresh if you keep the same old coach or his old buddies who combined haven’t done nothing.

I see Brad Jones as a guy we could lose, who would get a HC job, and end up being amazing….just like Hornacek. We don’t want 2 great coaches being taken from under us.

That’s all I need to believe, really, to want him to be let go.

Let’s try someone new.

A slightly different situation, but maybe it could have been added.

Next Friday is a popular choice I’ve been seeing (on Twitter).

That one seemed pretty clear-cut that Collins was on his way out, but they sure took their time hiring a replacement. I think he’s gone, and if they’re decent about it they won’t let it drag on, and hopefully there’s an official announcement no later than Friday.

Seems like Hollins was both a head coach (not an interim dude) and they had the GM in place (though, admittedly, a newer GM). Seems strange to have him as part of the pre-draft workouts before letting him go.

The Larry Drew one was strange, too. Seems to parallel Ty’s situation. Not an interim, and GM was already in place.

But I agree with you that there’s no reason to let it drag on.

Fingers crossed!

I think I’ve been on the Mike Longabardi train ever since Zach Lowe first brought him up many moons ago as the defensive specialist responsible for the Suns’ defensive improvements, and then it was reinforced with Peter Novak’s article the week after that.

Neither is the case now, so I think if the Jazz are going to make changes it will happen next week, and probably on Thursday. Otherwise, you have a guy that’s not part of your future conducting exit interviews and giving players offseason directions. If you know you’re going to do it, there’s absolutely no reason to let that happen.
