The Jazz pulled off the unfathomable sweep of their nemesis, the Spurs, with a 105-98 victory on Wednesday night.
If the game had been played under “Skunks at 10” rules, the game would have been over in the first three minutes when the Jazz jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead. After some back-and-forth, the Spurs returned the favor with a ridiculous 25-0 run saddling the first and second quarters. As a man who has watched nearly every loss to the Spurs over the last 10 years, I have to admit that I didn’t expect the Jazz to continue to compete — much less hold on for the big road win.
