What a great day. As the Salt City Hoops Show hosted by Andy Larsen and Zach Harper unfolded, the Phoenix Suns started to actually make inroads against the Houston Rockets. Sure, at first, the Suns went down 13. But on the back of Mirza Teletovic and the Rockets not actually trying, the Suns came back and won. The last 45 minutes of the show is basically a celebration of that comeback and eventual result: after all, it raises the chances the Jazz make the playoffs to 95%. Before that, we talked about the Jazz’s road to the playoffs, the return of Alec Burks, and the Jerry Sloan news. We brought Tim Cato on from Mavs Moneyball to explain how the Mavericks have been so good recently, and to preview the Jazz’s still important but now less important matchup against Dallas on April 11. We also talk about the fabulous 13-page Hinkie letter, go around the NBA as always, and answer reader questions. It’s the Salt City Hoops Show!
